Time passes, stuff happens

15/10/08 – 23/11/08

There were about three weeks where Amika didn’t get to go anywhere or do anything much. She came off antihistamines. We started working on a heel position again, and she has gotten quite comfortable in that spot and I can walk her around the back yard fairly well. She has been fairly good about staying in her crate (with door open) when people have come to the door.

There was a party at my parents’ about 9th Nov. which I took Amika to, along with her crate and a marrow bone. Two guests stirred her up, and one basically called me a bad trainer. That didn’t help my mood, but Amika did very well despite getting revved up in her crate. Let her out a few times and she didn’t jump up, but there was some “mugging”.
